2020 - 2022
I joined SumUp in January 2020, where I worked in a cross-functional team as a brand, marketing and growth designer. I was responsible for designing the creative strategy for the growth of SumUp within the European core markets. I helped to refresh the brand, and ensure consistency across all channels (online marketing, website, social media, CRM, internal comms etc.). I later became the main POC for everything related to online marketing, where I ran creative brainstorming sessions, conceptually ideated and developed multiple full fledged campaigns.
My line manager was one of the most organised and structured people I’ve ever had the chance of working with. She taught me a lot about how to set up an informative and ‘how did I live without this before’ confluence page. Together we set up the marketing design system, geeking out on figma’s smart and intuitive capabilities - little did I know at the time, this would put me in good stead for my next job (where I built the design system from scratch, incorporating the various micro identities of the brand).
